• User: Refers to any individual or entity using the Services, including homeowners, builders, contractors, and vendors.

• Builder: Refers to licensed contractors or construction companies using Brass Tacks to bid on or fulfill construction projects.

• Project: Refers to any remediation, construction or renovation job posted or managed through Brass Tacks.

Brass Tacks provides a platform for homeowners to post construction projects and receive competitive bids from verified builders. Builders pay a builder platform participation fee, which does not affect the bids a user receives.

You must register and maintain an account to access certain Services. You agree to provide truthful and accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

All users agree not to:

• Misuse the Services, submit false information, or impersonate others.

• Engage in illegal, abusive, or disruptive behavior on the platform.

• Circumvent the platform, reverse engineer the platform, or conduct competitive analysis.

By posting content (including project descriptions, reviews, images), you grant Brass Tacks a worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display that content. We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or reject content at our discretion.

Brass Tacks may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, fraud, or abuse of the platform. Users may terminate their accounts by written notice, but all obligations up to termination remain in effect.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Class actions and jury trials are waived.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The most current version will always be available on our website.

Brass Tacks is not liable for damages arising out of your use of the Services, including project disputes, contractor performance, or outcomes resulting from the use of our platform.
